IMPORTANT CAST INFORMATION!!!!PLEASE READ!!!! I ASK THAT EVERYONE LISTED BELOW PLEASE email me ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it )to let me know that you or your child understands that he/she has been cast and will be taking part and will be attending the first meeting.
Also the leading adult woman part (Grace Bradley) hasn’t been filled and neither has the smaller adult male role of Mr. Bradley. If these aren’t filled by Sunday NOV 2nd. , WE WILL NOT BE DOING THE SHOW. So if you know anyone interested please tell them and me asap.
Our first meeting – a brief but mandatory informational Parent/cast member meeting will be Thursday October 30th at 6:00 pm. The rehearsal schedule will be handed out at this time as well as paperwork to be filled out. IN ORDER TO TAKE PART IN THE SHOW, ALL CAST MEMBERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN AT THIS MEETING WHICH WILL LAST APPROXIMATLEY 30-45 minutes.
This meeting will be followed by a cast read-through of the script. This should be done around 8:45. THE ELEVEN “ LITTLE ANGELS”ARE NOT REQUIRED TO STAY FOR THE READ-THROUGH. All other cast members need to stay for this.

Notice---The roles of all six Herdmanns and Beth have been double cast. The Little Angels have also been double cast. For these roles there will be a "RED CAST" and a "GREEN CAST". Performances will alternate casts. All other cast members will be appear in every performance.

GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION *Minors must be accompanied by an adult in order for the paper work to be filled out properly and all schedule conflicts submitted. Casting choices are often made according to actors availability so it is imperative that the OGT receive all conflict information (verified by parent or guardian) AT THE TIME OF AUDITIONS. * At all auditions, unless otherwise noted, auditioners will be asked to read from the script. You may be asked to move as well, so come dressed appropriately. No flip flop, heels or sandals please. For musicals you will be asked to come with a prepared vocal selection with an accompianment CD. Singing accapella (without accompianment) is not permitted. For Musical productions you also will be asked to learn a short and easy dance combo which will be taught at the audition. *Callback Auditions After the initial audition the director may need to see some auditioners again on a separate evening. The ‘Call Back List’ will be posted on the webpage at a time determined by the director. If you auditioned and your name does not appear on the call back list, this DOES NOT NECCESARILLY MEAN THAT YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CAST IN THE SHOW. *Cast List Posting After the final callback audition the director will post the cast list online and on the door of the Orphan Girl Theater. *Scripts are available ahead of time for perusal (they can be checked out from the OGT with a refundable deposit). Call or drop by the theatre to check out a script. *If you need some help finding a vocal selection for a musical audition, please call or stop by and Sue (723-2300) can help you find a song. *Feel free to call Sue with any questions about auditions or productions. |
